How does Clear Legal Services make their money?
We are paid a fee from your solicitor, which he in turn may endevour to claim back from the insurance company of the person(s) who is liable.
What if my accident happened some time ago?
If you are over 18 and your accident happened in the U.K. you have three years in which to lodge your claim in court. If you are under 18, then the three year period starts from your 18th birthday. It is best to seek advice as soon as is possible after any accident as the longer that you leave any claim, the harder it may become to gather sufficient evidence.
If my accident happened at work and I make a claim agaisnt them, can they dismiss me?
It is not legally justifiable for your employer to dismiss you for making an accident claim. Itr could amount to unfair dismissal. It is also important to remember that your employer is required by law to take out insurance cover agaisnt all staff accidents. This means that your employers insurance comapny will pay any compensation and not your employer.
How do I know if I am eligible to make a claim?
You will be eligible if you suffered an injury, physical or psychological, which was caused by someone who should have been taking reasonable care for your safety but failed to do so.
How much will I get?
Injuries affect people in different ways. Some recover quickly and, others don't. Injuries are valued by making comparisons with awards in similar cases and adjusting them where required. How long will my claim take?

Will I have to complete lots of paperwork?
No. Your solicitor should be able to do most of the necessary paperwork for you. You will have to check the details of your claim before it is submitted, however your solicitor can help you to do this.
